Sound, sensible horses that know the country. Fifty dollars a day.

Horses that have done this before

A hired horse should take care of you, and these do. They stand at the meet, go in company without fuss, cross water, and handle the ground here without arguing about it. Some will go first flight all day. Others are happier in second flight, and that is where most guests have the best time anyway.

Tell me what you ride at home and how bold you are feeling, and I will match you. If you have never hunted, say so plainly. Nobody here thinks less of a beginner, and a good day is worth more than a brave one.

  • Suited to first or second flight, matched to the rider
  • Ready at the meet, or picked up at the farm
  • Hunts, hunter paces, clinics, and hosted trail rides
  • Sidesaddle mounts with advance notice
